I'd never heard to comments about "hay" before - though I know "straw" (which is completely different from hay) is used in "straw bale gardening" could this be what was meant? Thank you for your time!

Thank you for the inspiration. I've prepped a portion of my garden to try lasagna gardening in the Fall. It's settling down nicely so far. Can't wait until Spring to try it :-)

What are your ideas on covering the LASAGNA GARDEN during a lot of rain or snow? I am now preparing my LASAGNA GARDENS for 2013 planting. This method worked great in my 2012 garden. Smiles, Lark
