I've just tried this method. Got 65 roses, 50 leystone and around stack felslate for 50 minutes.. Don't know why but in this location I have less spawned resources. Even if you use server hop. Sometimes after server jump you get almost 0 on everything during this route. still i got on my server 7500 gold for 50 minutes.

I have just started herbalism and managed to get one starlight rose, and got the quest and im still trying to get 15 attempts, problem now is that there seem to be very few nodes, will that increase when i finish the quest and get level 1 starlight rose?

Yeah. Factor in that game tokens cost 50% more on EU servers than on US servers. Factor in the competition in farming. Factor in the competition in selling. Nah, if I go out and farm MONEY (I don't mean doing my job, I mean looking for money scattered on the ground!), it's much cheaper and much more time-efficient to pay for the monthly subscription. LOL

Enchant Gloves - Legion Herbalism......is a good alternative to Darkmoon firewater because it permanent but of course then you're not mining faster.
