Winter Garden Tour - Wisconsin Garden Video Blog 743
Tips, Tricks
See More Garden Goodies: http://www.WisconsinGarden.com - - - We thought our subscribers would enjoy joining us on a winter garden tour of our Wisconsin Garden. This morning we woke up to zero degrees with anticipated wind chills making it seem like minus 25 degrees. We are bundled up and ready to head outside. While the winds were calm and a fresh layer of 8”-12” of snow everything, everything is as it should be, snuggled under a blanket layer of soft fluffy snow. For those of you familiar with all of our summer garden tours, it’s interesting to see how different everything looks in comparison. Even the snow makes its own crunch and squeaky sound as we take our tour. Watching the hundreds of bags of mulched leaves and grass clippings continuing to compost we’re aware of the raising snow banks at the end of the driveways. So bundle up in front of your monitor and join us on our final 2016 Wisconsin Garden video. Merry Christmas & A Blessed New Year.

Hi Lynn
You are so right. We are about to finally get our first big snow here in Connecticut. 6-10 inches forecasted. I guess we too will have out winter blanket soon. -
Happy New Year! 😀😀 we don't have any snow yet. I am so jealous.....just beautiful

Lynn and Rick, I really enjoyed watching your winter garden tour. Much different from here in Georgia. So far this winter, we've only been down into the upper 20s. Who knows what is to come. We could have snow here before it's over. It's the same here as you guys were speaking about Texas, how it would shut things down. We just don't have the equipment etc to handle a big episode of snow. Usually the main roads are plowed here , but back roads like where I live you get nothing...LOL. I agree it's so picturesque. One of my favorite things is beautiful winter scenes. Really my favorite is before the sun ever even hits the snow, when it's still very dim out. So comforting to me for some reason. Hope to see you again soon. Hope you all had a merry Christmas and hope you have a Happy New Year.

Really enjoyed the winter tour. Our winter here in south-central Washington state has been unusually cold, but probably more like it used to be when I was growing up. Have had a few nights of below 0 temperatures (-6 F.) but only about a half foot of snow. My fig trees are probably winter killed to the snow line, but they will grow back. Just don't like the thought of all that pruning. I guess well all enjoy a White Christmas this year. Merry Christmas and will be watching for your next video!

Your yard looks so pretty covered in snow! I haven't venture out too much into my yard because of the cold. It was 13 below when I left for work this morning. It'll be in the 30s in a few days so I'll go take a look around then. Keep warm!

Hello from Southern Cali. I'm freezing cold cause we went down to 50 degrees tonight. Brrr! I can't imagine living in Wisconsin but I guess people get used to it. Your home looks beautiful. Question...what happens if you have an emergency and need to get to the hospital? Do people stock up on groceries? How do people prep for this weather?
