Why We Should Be Urban Farming
Tips, Tricks
We are running out of space for farmland and a third of all food that is produced is wasted. Ken Dunn has been called the greenest man in Chicago and he's on a crusade to turn our food waste into productive farmland--right in the middle of the city! I love videos like this!

Thanks guys. So glad you're getting out there building relationships, cultivating a future, and sharing your humor. Now that IS Awsome.
-
Cool video and all, but the beginning is super simplistic, it doesn't account for about a thousand different things in the future that solve all these issues completely.
-
You should all watch the movie "Et demain?"
-
Does anyone know where they got all the facts from the beginning of the video?

productive
but probably not as space efficient as indoor climate controlled vertical hydroponic farms.
tho that knid of system would most likely cost far more than this. -
Just focusing on nothing, and wars will start and kill people. Problem of shortage solved.
-
I think the vertical farming is amazing and a marvelous solution. Bugs, not so much.
-
You guys deserve more subs!
-
Can't they give homeless people like a hand full of bagels?
-
Your map is bogus! Canada and Russia is apparently uninhabitable according to your "research" great video otherwise.
-
We mistakenly allowed big corporations for profit to control our food supply.
Very good information on this video like we don't need to grow a lot of bad nutritious food but grow less healthy food thus save land, time, water and other resources. -
When you can provide your local community with fresh fruits and vegetables only good things can happen. It becomes cheaper than processed food healtheir for you, frees up money for other things. It also makes for a healthey population, better functioning and could cut down on crime.
-
Who told you that Canada is uninhabitable??? I'm sure some other areas of the world will be surprised to find that their areas are similarly uninhabitable. There is life outside of America.
-
Since space is an issue, why not plant on building rooftops?
-
+TheGoodStuff could you guys do a episode about edible utensils ?
-

-
