Any less than 3 months right? But yes, I understand what you mean. I was natural 5 years and started back to relaxing Jan 2015. My next relaxer was in May, and I currently have not retouched as of yet. I have a lot of new growth. I keep it as hydrated as possible, because I have purchased a relaxer to put in it.

When my hair was relaxed it was shoulder length growing fine. I also had stretched my perms every three months. Only problem was the back hair never would grow and stay broken off.
