just wondering how long it took to grow the giant/mammoth sunflower . I live in Canada and thinking of buying sunflower seeds in December. I will have to grow then inside and plant them becuase of snow months. and plant them out side in spring. how long did it take to grow from seed to bloom?

I grew 7 mammoths in my veg garden last year and they got ravaged by beetles! They only came out at night too so it took a while to figure out what was eating them. I still was able to harvest 2 grocery bags of seeds tho!
