I did the yellow paper on coart board seams to work fine... The only one thing is that I actually live in Costa Rica... So I have them all year long... Do you think they might hurt the plants? Thanks for the tips!

Great question! From what I’ve read, yes, they are killed off in our winter, but new ones are introduced when we purchase infected plants or move indoor plants that may have flies on them, outdoors. Best thing is to keep a sharp eye out to catch them RIGHT AWAY and treat them immediately. Let us know how this year goes. Thanks, Lynn

Does anyone know if whiteflies will freeze to death in the winter? We had a deep freeze in SE Wisconsin this year and I'm hoping the little buggers all froze to death!

Thanks for the tip. Will be getting more again next year. The history of great! Thanks. Lynn

I don’t know if the flies come from the soil or they just fly in from someone else’s yard. If you try it, let me know how it works. Did you buy the nematodes? Thanks for your comment. Lynn

Azamax spinocide I may be spelling it wrong but if you look it up you can find it. The white flies lay there eggs in the soil so you should do a soil drench and a foliar spray. And one more time about a week later depending on the life cycle of the bug. It is organic and safe; much better than having white flies

Thanks for your comment and idea. Looked into the wire you suggested. It will be a good choice when these cages have fallen apart. Enjoy your next tomato crop. Lynn
