WHAT TO PLANT AND SOW IN AUGUST
Tips, Tricks
http://learn-how-to-garden.com In response to a question from one of my subscribers asking if he could still expect to get any veg out of his allotment this year, the answer is, of course you can. There are lots of plants we can sow or buy in as young plants We can improve the fertility of our garden by sowing green manures which add nutrients, improve the soil structure and suppress week growth. Thanks mark that was a great video thanks. Sorry for the late reply but I've just got back from London and the Olympics. I'll be going Dow to the allotment tomorrow to see if the weeds have already taken over. The green manure sounds like a great idea I'll definatly be instigating that. And don't worry I'm sure I'll have lots more questions. Thanks again chris.

Thank you for your positive feedback, I was responding to questions posted on my Learn How to Garden.com website and realised it would be a great idea to do a short video in response. Look out for the September one.

Super vid thank you. Great ideas, it is hard to find info on what I should be sowing now rather than what I should have planted out the previous month. Have been in a bit of a quandary regarding what I should be planting in all those post harvested rows. I had put some more beans, beet in along with some radishes (although the latter keep being eaten by earth fleas). Any chance you could do another one for september for us black thumb types?
