What if Texas Remained Independent?
Tips, Tricks
Texas had a brief flirt with nationhood back in the 19th century, and ever since have been a distinct culture inside the US. What if Texas remained independent and never joined the United States? Here is a few scenarios. Texas today should be part of Mexico in my eyes i believe the USA was still going to take the. west away frim Mexico but Texas due to its geographical region belongs to Mexico it should be a gift from the USA to say sorry for the Mexican American war that was unjust.

I think if Texas managed to remain, the nationalists would soon try to build up more industries than farming. Eventually they would find oil and the Years of uncertainty would be mostly over. Especially if they stayed out of the civil war, which without the supplies from Texas going to the Confederates, would end mich sooner. Texas, if they had smart leadership would stay out of ww1 but build up their military. But would probably get involved in ww2 assuming THEY had ben the main supplier of oil for Japan. Of course I imagine they would start to frown on the brutality of Japan. They would be attacked, and if goes Texas to WW2. Or else they might enter sooner and fight with the British and French. But I think they would for sure fight in WW2. And they would probably drag the US in too seeing as they would both be allies about the same size, the US in the east and Texas in the west.
Eventually WW2 ends. Texas would join NATO, and developm nukes. Don't know how much they would contribute to the space race. At some point though they and the soviets probably aren't on good terms. Also for Russian forces to invade America or the US they would have to cut through Europe or Texas. And seeing how Texas would probably have ideals somewhat similar to the US, they would probably both oppose the USSR. Maybe a war would not break out but many things would certainly be different, some of the achievements of the US would be Texas' achievements. -
Before I even watch I got to say I live in Texas and always have wondered so I wasted NO time choosing this vid.

as a Texan, yes. Many of us want to be independent again. There are many local groups that push for it, forming governments that could expand in the event of a split (like small local groups who appoint a treasurer for the small group, leaders, defense planners, they stockpile silver, gold, guns, and ammo lol).
