Hi Donald. Just curious do you sell at a farmers market? Additionally I am not sure I have seen a video on your irrigation process. How do you water your garden?
-
You suggest fertilizing in 4 to 6 weeks, What would be the best fertilizer to use ?
-
I really enjoy your videos.. I stopped growing cantaloupes and watermelons because they spread out so much its hard to weed them but mostly bugs eat the bottoms and they rot laying on the ground. It was a waste of time and space.

I've been doing research and there are still some things I want to know.
Do the mounds/ hills have to be built up a specific height?
If I have two cantaloupes growing together in a hill/mound, how far apart should I space the plants? (Especially for the final spacing of the plants). -
Good job ! I bet them were some gooood eatin' !!!
-
How long have you been doing this for

Is that possible to grow vegetable or cantaloupe in a clay or heavy soil?
My garden soil is clay
Most of it.
And its almost heavy. Already dug it and added like half an inch or less of manure and planted my vegetable seeds.
Do they will grow ?
Thanx . -
great video... I started mine this year in a little starter tray and I'm going to trellis them up because of space constraints like this example from Australia I think Fruit Growing: How to grow watermelon vines in small spaces - Growing watermelon pretty interesting video one side will be sugar baby watermelons and the other side cantaloupe.
-
I supposed to include cantaloupe as one of the most beneficial crop found in the garden. I would rather grow this kind of plant for it will offer a lot of healthy benefits. However, some lessons are best learned through watching this video. Nice post!

If it’s not a hybrid you can save the seeds…..Donald

I have not had too much success with cantaloupe or watermelon. the bugs get too them from the bottom and they rot. As much as I like them I stop growing them. they take over the garden as bad as kudzu.
