2 days 2 nights (8/31/2015-9/2/2015) after a 7 day south bound Alaska cruise (Seward, AL to Vancouver, BC) 1. Arrived in Vancouver Canada Place cruise ship terminal. It was raining non-stop, so no pictures. 2. We headed straight with our big luggage to the metro station to take the subway to Vancouver international airport (2 zones = $4 per adult except weekends and after 6:30pm). 3. Got my car rental at the airport (cheaper than the car rental at Canada Place terminal) and drove to Dr. Sun-Ya-Sen’s classical and scholars Chinese garden in downtown Vancouver. It was a beautiful garden with koi fish pond. $14 to enter. 4. There are tons of Chinese “dim sum” restaurants by the airport. 5. Next morning, we drove to the Stanley Park and paid $10 to park for the day. Walk to English bay bike shop to rent bikes. 6. We rode the bike starting from “English Bay” bike rental shop around 10am to Canada Place and around the Stanley Park (sea wall) to Cactus Club Café around 2:00 pm (The place was packed with local bikers on Tues) and ate a good lunch with excellent service from the waitress. 7. We rode a mile more towards the ferry along the shore and back to return the bikes (a 10 mile round trip under 5 hours). We stopped at many places for photos and videos, so plenty of rests and stops and goes. 8. The bike rental cost was $23 for a single bike and $40 for a tandem bike. Definitely beats driving and walking. You won’t see all the “sea wall” trail if you drive. It will take 10 hours if you want to walk. 8. Get in shape so you can ride a bike to see many beautiful things. https://www.google.com/maps/@49.2894726,-123.1223514,14.96z
