THIS DID FIX THE PROBLEM. Honey treats her citrus and brugmansia with magnesium sulphate, to treat yellowing leaves.

Hay and straw and wood chips in the large amounts in the soil take away nitrogen from the soil. So keep it in mind and add extra nitrogen with it to avoid yellowing leaves and delayed growing of the plants. Other than that - nice sweater! ;-)
