I saw your video on your backyard transformation-awesome and informative.....and now this one-great! Thanks for sharing what can really help many of us!

I only stop at Starbucks as they sell huge amounts of coffee each day. I leave them a tip. The girls appreciate the win-win scenario and my garden is being rewarded too.

You make some of the best videos I've seen and I've watched a lot. Thanks for the tip on using free wood chips and now I have a source for spent coffee grounds. I've spent a lot of money with very little success since the yard was rototilled a foot deep. Your ttips mean the world to me since I'm retired and on a fixed income. I mean for this backyard to become a food forest in time. Thanks again!

New Sub! +"Organics Best" Urban Gardener mentioned you as one of his favorites. Had to come check you out. Good stuff! I try to use organic coffee grounds. But if it's good coffee (like from a coffee house) I'd probably use it too. It's so hard these days trying to stay away from all the chemicals. Thanks for great vids. Happy Gardening AND Eating!

Great tips. I used to be able to get bags of grounds like that from a place near my job. They would be happy for me to take them. I need to start that up again. Coffee grounds are heavy! Lol

My orange tree loves coffee grinds, it produces the sweetest oranges every year. Great video! You can also go to juice bars and ask for their fruit and veggie scraps for composting 👍🏻

1:27 Dan, do you have a video on your outdoor worm composting setup? I'm really intrigued by this approach. BTW, I dug the wood chip delivery, as I had over 21 yards dropped on the driveway not long ago. Good workout.

Thanks for the great video, Dan. I call in the morning and have them set aside the days grounds in the afternoon, that way they know I'll be coming and its quick and easy. Also, I made a discovery that BEES LOVE COFFEE GROUNDS. I made that big so you'd see it. I put a pile on a bed in winter here in Colorado and that pile attracted a swarm of bees consistently for 2 weeks or more. They came on the warmer days and reduced the pile's size noticeably. Maybe you can experiment with this and tell us what you find. I also saw they liked certain grounds more than others. Happy gardening!

Great tip, great video! Our local Starbucks occasionally puts spent grounds out in 5 pound bags for customers. I didn't think to just ask for them outright. I'll give it a try!
