It is time to look at our Dahlias that have been stored above freezing on our back porch during the winter. I show how some of the buds have broken and how to divide them to make more dahlias. We planted them on 4-20-16 in our whisky barrels. I am trying to grow larger flowers this year and will show you what to do to get that result.

HI, i have accidentaly broken off the tip of a growing stem which has just broke the surface, will the remaing stem grow on and flower ?
this is my first year growing dahlias. I got about 10 from home depot. they are about chest high now and have buds on them. can't wait to see if I can store and divide them next year. I'm in love with these flowers and hope I get a good showing this season.
I learn so much from your videos. Maybe next year I can plant flowers. I prefer bulbs or those that self seed. I do have some daffodils planted here and have some irises I need to transplant when I have the time. lol Time!
I just bought some dahlia bulbs this year. It will be my first time growing them.
