How-to video http://www.chipptips.com/flies Do you need effective tips on how to get rid of flies? Everyone has encountered a fly in their home at some point. This year seems to be one of the worst in recent memory. If you have flies in your house or yard that you need to get rid of, follow the simple steps in this video and you'll have these pesky flying insects removed in no time. Having those pesky flying bugs buzzing around my home drives me nuts. Aside from being annoying, they are also filthy because they feed in sewers, dumps, fecal matter, spoiled meats and decaying matter. It is important that you know how to get rid of flies quickly and effectively because they can carry pathogens into your home and contaminate the food in your kitchen. Flies contaminate foods and surfaces with bacteria that can cause cholera, food poisoning and about 60 other diseases. You don't need to be an exterminator to tackle this how-to project. You may have no idea how they are getting into your home but I'll show you how to get rid of house flies permanently. House flies only have a life span of 14-21 days. However, in that time, they are capable of laying hundreds of eggs. Naturally, failure to get rid of just one insect can lead to an infestation very quickly. Even if your home is sanitary and neat, they will surely find crumbs and scraps to thrive off of. The best step you can take in getting rid of flies inside of your house is to keep them outside. Repair any holes in your window and door screens. Also make sure there are no gaps in the insulation strip around your doors. You can use a self-repair patch kit for the screens and a tube of silicone to seal up the remaining gaps. This is the best natural way to repel them. It will also help to keep out other bugs and insects as well. After you are finished with this step, we can focus on how to kill the flies that are already inside. First, use which ever natural deterrents that you have at your disposal. Wipe down all counters and surfaces. Cover any foods in your kitchen such as fruit. Once all of their food sources have been eliminated, it is time to use a fly repellent or trap. Visit the link at the top of this description to find out which repellents received the Chipp Marshal stamp of approval. I conducted an experiment this summer on how to get rid of flies. I tested all the top rated indoor and outdoor traps to find out which one worked best to kill and remove them. Visit that link to see which natural insect products worked the best and where to get them at a huge discount. Fly Traps are a great way to get rid of insects. These devices attract the flies and then trap them on sticky paper or in a container where they are killed. Once the device is filled, you can just simply toss it in the garbage. Traps and repellents are made for indoor and outdoor use. If you purchase an outdoor unit, be sure to keep it 25-30 feet away from your house. Need more info? or you can just buy a 5$ fly shocker thingy (idk what's it called)
it's basically this small thing (like 1 feet) that has a (usually) blue light and you place it in a room and turn off the light
since obviously flies fly to light, they will fly to the thing.
on contact of the lamp (the light and not the structure of the thing) they will be shocked with like 18247893275384758 volts xD
and no, they won't fall on the carpet or ground or whatever it is
the lamp is inside this small area where if they die, they will end up in a specific area (that can be taken out and cleaned)
i can't really explain exactly how they don't fall on the ground or outside of the thing. you'll see once you buy it
it's available on this ''Wish'' app on mobile or on ''geek'' for like 4$ and 3$ or so shipping
it's probably the most effective method. -

I have problems with insects outside my windows, so what I have done is kill them and leave the corpses, which in turn acts as a grim ward and frightens them from reappearing. It's not 100% but it has reduced the overall amount of insects lurking outside near my house in those areas

So I have another problem. The fruit flies are gone but we have these tiny flies that pop of here and there and now we have house flies the shiny ones. They are in small numbers at the moment and I have Noticed they are coming from the basement. We have all our pets down there and they seem to be coming from my guine pig cages. I see them mostly at night and they come in numbers of 4s. Help. I'm thinking about getting rid of my pigs but I'm not sure.
