It’s truly a plant with purpose! It was in a warm, sunny spot my front garden and both the plant and pot were looking looking a wee bit sad. It was time to take action and make my beloved plant a whole lot happier. By the way, the pot will get a facelift one of these days. If you want to watch me repotting this Aloe, see what potting mix I used and learn how to remove the baby, then this video will show you all of that. Lucy had to help me pull it out of the pot and quite a few of the roots were lost but no worries, this is a tough plant. Almost 3 months later, it’s firmly rooted in and greening back up like crazy. My aloe vera got frozen because it was inside aglass covered balcony but the temperature outside was -20°C.Now the center is still green but the leaves have become mellow.How can I save it?It is the size similar to that on the video.

Hi there. Great video. Thanks fr posting. I have a question. How does your aloe leaves grows so huge where mine here is just thin and not so thick. Tell me how could I grow my aloe vera thick? Do I have to place my pot indoors? It's currently outside and get affected by direct sunlight all day and rain. Tq

IT'S SO BIG I WANT MY ALOE TO GET THAT BIG

I accidently watered too much a baby aloe plant and now it's turned orange brown. Am I supposed to trim off a leaf or two of the worst ones ? the center has two tiny leaves growing - and I don't want to stress it to much - any advice?

Thank you for this video. I left our large potted aloes outside too long and they suffered similar damage. I will follow your method and hope I do the cutting correctly. I also only have regular potting soil.

I bought an aleo vera today im so excited to let it grow so big + it has a little baby im so excited about it 😁

this was helpful, because my aloe plant kept shooting baby ones and i just left them, i had a big clump of shootings that werent growing they were staying small and skinny.

How do you get your Aloe Vera so big?? I love it. Mine is so small and I would love it big like yours. Also can you take clippings of aloe to grow a new aloe with?

my plant is loosing leaves they get really loose and pluck of with a few wiggles i was told i was watering to much and now im not sure because its still happening

I have a couple of small aloe plants that I'd love to see grow bigger. Like the comment below, I think I've been overwatering, too. Oops! So too much sun is not a good idea, for aloe plants?

Thank you for your videos, Nell. It really helps me a lot. I've been known to kill my plants in the past so I kinda gave up. But in the last couple of months I've been collecting small succulent plants here and there. Also, I have some mint plants that I've been guaranteed they won't die on me...haha! Anyway, I've been watching and reading blogs on how to care for my little plant collection and your videos are awesome!
