ive found that using insulated ducting with quality sealed hoods with those hood blankets (you can make your own) with at least a 6" (preferably an 8") fan....and straight as possible duct runs...you get most of the heat outside. But you still need ac after so many watts especially in the summer months. Just not as much.
-
remove the glass....wouldnt that defeat the purpose of removing heat (air cooled) from the air cooled reflector?
-
remove the glass on an air cooled hood? please explain.

You can cool down a Tent by just putting a bucket of Water inside. The Water somehow sucks away and stores the Heat.
In big Greenhouses they store the Heat in Water over the Day,and then heat the Roots with the Hot Water in the Night. It works suprisingly well -
Maybe obvious, but what about making sure that you run your bulbs only at night? Window ac with built in thermostat can work wonders, and.keeping the hood exhaust running during the day helps quite a bit as well.

Good ideas for summer. We noticed the LightRail in the first shot, and that's also a good way to keep things cool. You get rid of the hot spots and get 20% more area covered with the same electricity. Summer is coming and keeping things cool is super important.

great info will be utilizing, peace

I'll be starting my first grow this Summer (most likely). Thanks for the tips!

But you don't have to feed your plant with every watering. Good tip for people who mix their feeding solution before hand however!
