TIPS ON PLANTING POND LILIES
Tips, Tricks
When we started our overhaul of our pond garden last year we removed our flowering pond lilies and kept them in a large storage tub. They survived last winter and now we replant them in the new pond garden. The flowers are only open during the day and close each night during blooming.

Excellent tutorial, as always Bernard! Thanks for sharing. Your pond and plants look very nice and I'm sure will grow more beautiful as the summer progresses.

Can you show me how you made your sifter box? It would really be useful for my finished compost
Cheers!

Pickeral weed is a fabulous water tank flower, too. They have beautiful blooms of purple/blue flowers that will remind you of your calla lilies. They are also very hardy. I grow them in the middle section of a big water tank, with red lilies surrounding.

Oh my goodness that pond is Gorgeous! I can't wait to see the lilies growing, I've never seen one in person before, but this is even better! That's a lot of work for lilies, and now I have a lot more respect for those that grow them too. Great instructions, Thank you!
