1. You lazy man... lol... using a plaster drill to dig the holes... lol... classic... never seen that before
2. Squirrels rarely eat bulbs. They dig them up to find out if they're worth eating but have to be really hungry before they'll eat them. A good tip is to put food out for the squirrels to distract them and put a layer of mulch/compost over the soil where the bulbs are planted so the squirrels cannot sniff them out.
3. I wonder if dipping the bulbs in hot sauce would discourage squirrels without harming the bulbs.
4. Thanks Mike; used to, many years ago, use you knowledge to propagate plants but lost touch with visiting. Love the new things on your site, especially your use of the social media and youtube videos. Would like to ask you please to invest in a wind filter for your video camera's microphone as the Ohio wind is annoying but the info is great. Keep up the great work.
