How to know type of hibiscus if tropical or hardly

In how much time does a hibiscus flower grow back in case if a fully grown flower is plucked or falls down ?

I've noticed several comments here about small bugs on plants. I live in N. Alabama & decided this spring to "rescue" several Green Anole lizards from the local pet stores. We haven't had any here, but I know they can & do live in our area plus also double checked. I have plants, shrubs, hanging baskets next to the house & especially "built" them a nice habitat of tropical plants to hide in & bask in the sun. I mainly wanted to give them their freedom along with enjoying watching them (and their tiny babies emerging). I knew they would help with insect control, also, but had no idea how well they would control the bugs on my Mandevillas & Hibiscus!!!! That was an added bonus! We did not spray for ants or any other bugs or spiders...just let them take care of these. Of course, they can't or won't take care of all of them (large spiders or wasps), but they have done a great job this summer. They have now discovered it is warmer in the garage at night, so they may just winter in there. If you don't like lizards, you will warm up to them....my husband even has and he doesn't like reptiles. I catch him looking for them every morning & even talking to them! We saved their lives & freedom & got environmentally friendly pest control. Oh, and they got along well with the hummingbirds & even drank from the ant traps on top of their feeders.

im thinking of getting a hibiscus for my beardie he love eatting hisbiscus. But im worried about the mites is using warm water to wash it away the only way to get rid of mites?
-
there is a bug which makes your leaves go all yellow it is difficult to get rid of the bug
-
Ivy is the worst for bugs, I cringed when I saw you plant them with the hisbiscus :(

I mix five tablespoons of Dawn Dish Washing Soap (You can use other brands...) with a gallon of water. Then I pour it into a spray bottle and then I spray the whole plant. Above the leaves and underneath the leaves. This will kill insects. It eats through the insect and does not hurt the plant. Then five days later spray again so you get any baby bugs that come later from the adults! Also, use a good insecticide and sprinkle it around the base of the plant. This will help keep bugs away!

Excellent video and effort by you to shoot and document the growth of your hibiscus over a year! That takes commitment
I got a braided hibiscus from Rona which is kept indoor (I live in a Calgary apartment which gets good sunlight in the afternoon). It was doing well until I repotted it from the original 10 inch (it was root bound) to a bigger 20inch pot. The leaves are wilting, they're not thick and glossy anymore, they're droopy and soft, the leaves are getting light green and yellow and falling off.
However there are lots of buds but they're taking very long to develop. Can you please give details on what kind of soil you use, how much you water and how often? There are no aphids on my hibiscus -
It has to be dish soap mixed with water….

Thanks for your video. To get rid of the small beasts of animals, I ALWAYS use soap mixed up with water, spraying with a flowerspray. That will do it for 100% It has always worked for me and all my Hibiscus 🌺

How to make hybrid of this hibiscus ?

Some good tips there, but you have some heavy insect infestations and it is those that turn your leaves yellow. I see aphids at 1:24, and whitefly at 3:20 and 3:47, plus Mealy bug fluff at 3:56, plus the bug infestations you point out. I have my share of bug problems and Ontario, Canada no longer allows us to use any effective insecticides!
