Tips on Harvesting and Saving Ghost Pepper / Scorpion Butch T Seeds
Tips, Tricks
At the end of the growing season, I have nothing to do but prepare for the next year. My first step is saving the seeds from the previous harvest. Ghost peppers (Bhut Jolokia) do not have many seeds, but I am always able to save more than enough for my needs. The Trinidad Scorpion Butch Ts, though small, have an equal number of seeds.

Tips... Didn't see anything useful. No offense but this is just wrong.
One should not use the last pods, since there is a way more chance for cross pollination and the pods are smaller.
Opening pods and extracting seeds with your hands is the worst thing you can do, capsaicin will easily go trough one par of glows, and you are destroying those peppers. -
What's the best way to keep fresh hot Peppers during winter seasons or longest they can be?

Now that 2 years have elapsed since this video was made, I'd like to hear how your second generation plants worked out. I saved some of mine from last year but I've been hesitant to grow them since they're hybrids.

Bring that plant inside in fall , top it and next year you'll fill a 2 or more gallon bucket

I put some seeds from a chili seeds, i was using to cook with, in a small medicinal pill container and the little bits of flesh around the seeds have gone off. Are the seeds still useable? Can they still germinate?

And I live in Ohio do you think I can grow them?

Should you wear gloves when planting them to or just when handling them?

I grew the ghost pepper pretty easy up in virginia but just make sure you have the basic stuff (sun light or CFL, a heat source around 80 degress or above and water obviously) never let the soil dry out it can give the plant a fungal infection that probably wont happen but its better to be safe than sorry
