Great tips. Wonder why I've never EVER seen a professional stylist care about protecting previously processed hair when washing out. Girl, you just made me feel so dumb with your simple truth. We were taught lies about our hair from day one. I appreciate the "Natural Revolution"going on, but am so excited about this healthy relaxed/texlax waist length revolution that has begun. Far more impressive in my opinion. I'm all in! Oh, yeah, subscribed! 😃

Great tips - especially protecting your ends with conditioner, castor oil and neutralizing shampoo. I'm going to try that out (although the conditioner tip didn't quite work for me. Maybe I did something wrong).

I do exactly the same thing as you with applying the neutralizing shampoo to the ends right before rinsing. I think that if I protect with neutralizing shampoo beforehand, sometimes it gets to the roots while I am relaxing and neutralizes it before it has a chance to relax my hair the desired amount. So I protect with a conditioner / vaseline during the relaxer.

Great tips! How do you keep relaxed hair moisturized without that greasy "weighed down" look?

There a girl on YouTube that gets her hair relaxed 3-6 weeks and it's clearly over processed. The problem with women is they look at length and think it's good but her hair clearly over processed. I keep my hair shoulder length because it's too thick. My one stang is thicker than most people's ten. Then you have people on here talking about clipping half a inch of hair... If your using heat all the time you def need more than that off. Hair will grow you just have to take care of it.

Omg! I just laughed so hard at you saying your face breaks out if you look at it too hard. Wow. Lhh!!!

Lmao@ "I'll break out if you look at my face hard"! Same reason I can't do Biotin. Great tips!

About airdrying . . . .I air dry about 90% then blow dry. I wrap to let it rest before flatironing just once a week I do this n its grown 6 inches in a year!

Taking biocell collagen also helps to strengthen and thicken hair and nails.

I have anemia to I always knew but I didn't know it was that harmful till a week ago and had a 3.5 blood count so maybe that's why my hair was thinning also.
