and the brochures say that "Bluberries are easy to grow!!" I grow in pots, In my small back yard and bring my blueberries into the greenhouse in June (Merseyside UK) to replace tender plants which can go outside. The birds don't stand a chance. I've done this with strawberries too. I think I made a mistake once of using national Growmore fertiliser on them. In future it will be Sequestered Iron. I think I may also have over fed them.

This was a very informative video. I planted blueberries here in Phoenix a couple months ago, and lately they've started to look burned so I've been shading them. Someone told me the problem is also that the water here is too alcaline and it gets on the leaves themselves when the sprinkler system is running. Is this really a problem?

"Birds like blueberries" … LOL, aint that the truth! I just spent all day trying to get a net around my blueberries and strawberries here … a bird ate my first strawberry. I'm getting a windmill! I am trying to grow blueberries in a self-watering container … like an Earthbox, any hints ?
