Time-lapse video of a commercial "magic christmas tree" growing in 1125x speed. The tree is made out of coloured paper and the container at the bottom is filled with water containing a dissolved salt. The paper is soaked with the solution and while the water evaporates the crystals grow. Video made by single photo shots (Nikon D40) every 45s.
