make sure you like and can digest subchokes, they give me bad gas and wire worms eat the tubers, wire worms are the off spring of click Beatles.

Dear anyone who can
contribute, I am in a tropical climate in the Caribbean-Trinidad and I have
received some artichoke seeds. Do the seeds need to be Vernalized?
Vernalization is the process of chilling seeds or crowns at temperatures between
34 degrees F and 50 degrees F, which causes plants to flower earlier. Is this
required for the plants to go to flower in a tropical zone . The temperature
range in the country where I reside at present is a max of 30 degrees Cs in day
and 20 degrees C at night. Do you think it will flower given these temp ranges
and can it be grown in a partial shade
environment in the tropics?
I noticed for Nevada is a high of
106° F (41° C) and a low of 34° F (1° C). Would you say that the plant really
needs a vernalisation period .bit artichokes grow there

+GrowingYourGreens it might be wiser to mail your gerisole in damp peat moss, coir, newspaper or even moist biochar to reduce weight and cut costs. I received mine from a supplier who just wrapped them with damp newspaper inside a ziplock bag. They were fine. Other live plants I ordered came with their roots wrapped in aluminum foil.
Also the quarantine laws of some states ban importation of soil so that was my first concern. I appreciate your videos.
Apios (ground nuts) are another good crop. Vining tuberous legumes. Worth looking into. -
Don't grow Jerusalem artichokes if ever want to get rid of them. You can't get rid of them without heavy chemicals. Container only, or just stay away!!

Here in New Zealand, (South Pacific 1,000 miles past Australia), yeah we have REAL strict plant quarantine laws here so can't import seeds and stuff, but if any Kiwis out there want Runner Bean seeds, I've been growing them for years, they do real well here in Christchurch, Canterbury, and should do well throughout most of NZ and the surrounding nearby islands, Chathams etc. I'd like to grow Jerusalem Artichokes if anyone knows where to get them in Chch. I have a limited amount of spare Scarlet Runner Beans seeds in stock already from previous years and expect to have even more this coming Autumn, say about April/May. I can be contacted by sending me a message through my Youtube channel. Just leave a comment among any of the plant related videos and I'll get back to you. cheers.

LOVE YOU JOHN, FUCK THE HATERS , KEEP BEING EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE

Only way to get rid of sun chokes is to screen ALL the soil.
-
Boy I missed the seed sale, let me know if you get some more. I grow in pots so I only need 8 seeds for two pots

thanks again!

Dear John. I am from Mumbai, India. I do not own ant land in here but I watch all your videos with great interest.
Unfortunately the seeds of various crops you show on the video aren't available in India for me to try. (e.g. Runner beans, walking onions to name a few).
Please keep it up. -
This is amazing! Where can I buy starter seeds?
-
Thanks for the advice...
