The Secret to Stronger Milkweed Seedlings
Tips, Tricks
http://monarchbutterflygarden.net/starting-seeds-inside/ Milkweed seedlings are fragile. In the past, I've had seedlings destroyed both inside and out. One way to strengthen seedlings as they grow is to expose them to a light breeze, which disrupts plant cell elongation, and the stem grows thicker instead. I should have done this sooner this with my Asclepias physocarpa (swan milkweed), but I think they'll be fine for planting in a couple months.

Good for you! This tip is so important for early inside growers.
Milkweed tries to out grow other plants to reach the sun and without natural outdoor conditions can fall and not get up.

You are saving the monarchs one plant at a time. If you use grow lights or cheap shop lights and keep them about 2 to 3 inches off the plant , this may help as well and they won't become as "leggy" (stretching to get light). Great work and the monarchs love your work as well.
