my concern is what happens after you eat them? are they a kind of food that will make you poo? by that I mean more than the usual. which brings me to my next question, what can you do in a survival situation when nature calls? a good video on that would be awesome

you can also make paper out of the little mulberry trees bark

IN A RED AND BLACK MULBERRY
for me the best time to eat them is at a light red, you get the sweetness, but you get a nice tartness that will make it taste so much better DONT EVER EAT THE ONES LIGHTER THAN PINK in survival situations, they can give you diarrhea -

These berries are really popular here in Brazil, more especially in Brasilia, thanks for teaching me what these berries are called in english! where are these originally from?

Interesting video. The taste of the berries, and the leaves, varies between species and between individual trees grown from seed. We prefer to avoid plastic in contact with our food or drink whenever possible, so we use cotton tarps to collect fruit like this.
