I've got 4 (four) BIG Bougy's and I 1st put on my Knights suit of armor complete with gloves, helmet, and shield. 2nd I sharpen my electric hedge cutters and attach a 10 foot pole with trigger. 3rd I scout neighborhood for 4 kids that recently moved-in and offer $5 per Bush to do the cleanup, scheduled half hour apart fro one another, after their 1st Bush they Will usually try to renegotiate for more money. Here's why 4 kids: the first usually never finishes cause they went home to mom to get thorns out of feet
And wheelbarrow, then 2nd kid comes and starts working and here comes back the first kid and he sees he's been replaced and doesn't bother to even ask to.finish nor does he ask for money just so that he doesn't have to deal with these Bougy's and so on! B-D -
Where is the best place to trim them? I have one that is a baby in a pot. It was on clearance. Several branches of it had no flowers at all. Just long branches (about 2 feet) with thorns. One branch had flowers, but now it's all thorns as well. I would like to train it up to grow into a tree in a pot so that it can come inside in the winter. What's the best place to trim it? If I trim such a small plant significantly back, will it kill it? Thanks
