I am not sure where you live, I man Australia, in central Queensland, it get very hot here during the summer, so I have place my desert roses in an easterly facing position, they get lots of morning sun and are thriving on it. We only moved to this house a year ago and never had any luck with them till the move, I have managed to grow a real deep red, I have no idea of the name of it. The other thing I noticed about them is they don't like hail storms we had a surprise hail storm here one day, and Amy bonsai got a real beating I managed to save them but the desert rose didn't survive.

What sort of fertiliser do you suggest

I have had these for thirty years when I lived in south Miami, florida. I have never been fortunate to get a seed pod. Now I live in Ohio and My One adenium has a single(one)pod and Winter is almost here. Plus I am not equipped sow the seed here. Suggestions?

why doesn't mine bloom?

What gorgeous plants! I recently got myself a tiny baobab adenium, but it seems to not like something as the leaves are yellowing constantly. When I first brought him in, he was happy and even sprouted new leaves, but now, something's just not right. Is watering it once a week too much? Also, thanks to your video, now I know the climate it's supposed to be in, apparently, it's quite cold here in Denmark, but I hope the little guy survives.

we had a bit of a freeze this year, should I just cut off the frozen part?? If so, when should I do this? Is there a better time of year to prune?

how do u get the trunk to grow thick

Great video. I was thinking of purchasing one. I live on the Texas gulf coast. A few summers we been in where the heat index is in triple digits. Around 108 but heat index. I was wondering if these plants could survive the Texas heat.
