Tips, Tricks
I tried growing thai basil at home from stems and it worked. it took nearly 1-2 weeks for the roots to emerge. I changed water after every 2 days.

You know, I discovered something funny. I had spring onions and they were in plastic bags in my fridge. Well, I kind of forgot them and went in to throw them away and low and behold, they had grown roots and were still growing! :)

Good catch on your camera! :) I am just trying this now so hopefully I will have good results like you did. :)

I know it happened to me too. The roots may be happy in water but putting them in soil caused them to probably have a sudden shock without water, this may have killed them. I would suggest next time try to leave them in the pot of water for longer time till roots grow a longer. When you do plant them make sure they have plenty of water. :) Trying to root 6-7 cutting would help too. EXAMPLE: Out of 7 cuttings i tried, only 4 were able to survive, once i planted them in soil.
