Sustainable farming build a successful fodder system
Tips, Tricks
After 3 previous attempts at building a fodder system I think I got it right now, biggest hindrance was all the bad advice you can find on the internet. This system works, I can produce up to 30 pounds of fodder a day. We feed 250 chickens and adding fodder greatly helps reduce feed cost and is much healthier for the animals. This is and important part of sustainable farming practices. How long does it take to sprout? Are you able to feed your 200 chickens each day with only 24 trays? Do you feed your birds anything else during the day or only the fodder?

Is it really wroth the effort?

Awesome video, and thank you for sharing.
I know you say sustainable, but isn't it only sustainable as long as truckers are bringing in large quantities of big bags of seed for you?
How much land and resources would you need to truly be sustainable and grow your own barley to seed? -
I purchased my barley seed from Justin seed in Justin Texas just outside off fort worth
