I especially am grateful for your videos that focus on tips and methods, and less on products. products on location are fine, though location-based videos will be less applicable to your subscribership at large. keep up the good work, j.

John, with the shorter video format, you'll be at 1,000 videos in no time. Nicely done.

I have heard that any contaminants in the soil are taken up by tomato plants and stored in their leaves (their fruit is OK)...perhaps this is why? there could be another reason.

Hey john can you do the same thing with sweet potatoes? Jay Kordich father of juicing said people have been know to survive off of sweet potatoes alone and have no nutrient deficiency.

What are your thoughts on eating tomato leaves? I have had so many people tell me that I will die because I eat them. Also, I feed them to the chickens and you should see the animal rights people go crazy over that. where did this idea of the tomatos being poisonus come from and if they are why are my chickens and I not dead?

I also just throw food scraps on the garden without composting. So much easier. I also feed a lot to my chickens who turn it into fertilizer easily!

I started 5 large raised beds after watching your vids and now have a bountiful garden: Cherry tomatoes, celebrity tomatoes, blueberries, blackberries, short neck squashes, chili peppers, cow horn peppers, Japanese eggplants, watermelons, persimons, apples, oranges, tangerines, pomegrantes, cantaloupes, aloe veras, sweet basil, chocolate mints, orange mints, Italian oregano, ect..all of my organic food scraps go straight into the garden without composting.

Hoping I can get a hand From John or anyone with experience growing the Cape Goose berry / Inkin berry / Japanese Lantern. I have a few seeds that I collected from one berry. Can not for the life of me get them to germinate. Any hints or tips would be great.
