I like the way they show a picture of Hibiscus syriacus 'Purpureus Variegatus' for the closeup of the foliage... (Where it looks the most variegated) Notice the dark purple buds there... Sugar Tip is not as variegated as this video leads you to believe.

Have you gotten seed on this? Or fertile pollen to cross pollinate and try to get more variegated plants from seed
