This is great advice but be very careful if doing the work yourself especially if you are working at heights. The western district of Victoria (Australia) is losing a great number of venerable tress to canker and if it can be stopped that would be great. I am especially concerned about Avenues of Honour to war dead.

Yes, cut it down and dispose it safely. The disease spreads easily.

Hi, Just found your video. I have a tree that looks like the WHOLE tree is covered in this.. its a leyland cypress.. should I consider it dead and just cut it down?
