Hi Gary. Would you mind posting where you found the trays, cells, and domes for $5-6? I can only find them for about $15-20 most places.

yo Gary you know how nothing can kill spidermites Right? except maybe lady bugs but it's a pain to keep them in your pot miticide don't help jack . What's your take on extracting a very mild pepper spray to kill any infestations on the plants and around the surface . What about a even weaker pepper spray to drench the soil it's organic.Watch that YouTube video extracting capcasism from peppers . sorry for my bad spelling.its a short video watch it please and tell me what you think about my idea . really check it out cause your pretty smart man

Hi, I built your grow box and my Spinach sprouted their 2nd leaves the first day and their 3rd leaves 3 days later......it is a great grow box for beginners and inexpensive ......my dill seedlings did well too. Seems like my dill grew more at night time after 16 hours in the grow box.....thought you'd like to know

-
Wont using boiling water kill off any beneficial bacteria and fungi?
-
I'm in Georgia Zone 7b ,how can I sterilize my raised bed soil for the spring, I saw a video to cover it with plastic for the entire winter to heat up and it should be ready by the spring , I was gonna pour hot water on it but that's a lot of water to boil and we're finally getting rain after a long severe drought

I guess
you could also microwave the dry starter mix for a minute or so
to destroy any eggs or spores. -
If it came from outside.... MICROWAVE IT. Cut the 72 section up.

Thanks for doing this series, it's helping to get me in the mood for seed starting. Especially since i can start soon down here in Zone 9. :)

I'm in southeastern PA. When should I start my seeds indoors?
-
It's Jiffy. Seeds pop when it's ready.
-
Thanks Gary.
Might be out of season for some folks but it sure helps pass time thru the winter when you can plan indoors and get a jump on the weather. -
Very cool. Appreciate the tutorial Gary.

hey Garry have you ever tried out bio live? it's an organic fertilizer and it has a lot of different types of meals. I use it in my seed starting mix and I get 99% to 100% on my seedlings growth.

What is ur opinion on soil blocks
-
two questions: could you put a link to the Grow it, cook it eat it? There are a few of them on FB.
Also, is it possible to start seeds now in a home greenhouse? I am in zone 5, and this is my first winter :) -
Are you really starting now or do you mostly start around March?
-
Isn't it a little bit early for starting seeds? I live in zone 9b and I dont start seeds until after Christmas.

Thanks! Have a good weekend!
