thanks! I think we'll be saving egg cartons for next season. Although, I think I said that last year. :)

If you want to go cheaper, use egg cartons. Cut the top off, put couple holes in the egg spaces. put bottum in top to hold water. I did this, it works great. My peppers aren't sprouting yet either, but they take longer. Almost everything else is sprouted. I already had to transplant somethings after 12 days.

they're nice.

Pretty cool. I have used those little peat discs before. They work pretty good.
-
Thanks! My tomatoes and squash are coming up, but the peppers are not doing anything.
-
I started my seeds back in March and already have stuff growing outside. I'm in North Florida and Spring is here! Love this time of year. Next weekend I will be doing another update on mine. Good luck!

Thanks Peter.

nice one my friend. great tips

My seeds should be sprouting any day now. I have two peat seed trays with what will hopefully be 144 plants ready to go in the ground come June 1st.

The gardening season is almost here. You will be ready soon to it.

You too Kaz.

Nice to hear from you JC.
-
It should. Those water runoff grooves help too
-
You saw those eh? :) I'll have to get them out some day and make a video showing how to poke an eye out. Enjoy!
-
You too Ken. The seeds are all sowed now. :)
-
I hope these trays last as that's what I plan on doing. Or maybe just buy some plastic trays. Thanks!
-
love how we are all smiling more now with the new growing season! Great idea and think you can order the peat disc and reuse the trays.

I like inexpensive options, Roosevelt. Thanks for posting and sharing your thoughts. Have a good week, my friend. Ken

They say 12 to 16 hours, but I just use a timer and set it to come on and off with sunrise and sunset.
