No, you're right. Avocados are gross.

I've taken a look through your videos. Did you ever do an update on how your 5 seeds were doing?
I've managed to source 8 'dwarf' BoP seeds, so I might try two with your paper towel method, two in separate pots on the heated propagator and four planted in the seed tray on the heated propagator. My only concern is that the little trays are only about an inch and a half deep. Would that be enough depth for when they start to germinate? -
New plants can take up to 10 years before flowering....

These are one of my favourite genera, have 4 species (including natural variety of the yellow reginae, called lutea) namely, reginae, juncea and nicolai. All native to my country South Africa. I can get seeds of one of the two i need, caudata. But impossible for now to find the last one called Alba.
I am also still having trouble to grow from seed. -

Hello everyone,
I got my seeds while on my honeymoon in Hawaii.
I read and followed the directions on the back of the package.
I put notches in mine 6/19/2015 and soaked them in distilled water for 24 hours. Then I planted them on 6/20/15.
I have kept them moist.
Today (7/18/15) I re-potted them with fresh soil only because I had been having a gnat problem and realized some of the soil I used was infested. But it was too late I had already planted them. So I waited about a month and decided to re-pot them today.
When I dug the seed out of the soil I seen only one had sprouted. I am excited about it. We shall see.
You guys planted y'alls a year ago. Wow.
How is everyone elses doing?
Do any of you have any tips/advice?
TYIA
I seen that you dont even have to notch them and need to remove the orange thingy. Grrrreat. Well, I may try again. -
