Very helpful advice. I have planted mine in pots about 10 days ago. I covered the tuber, is that ok? And is it ok to put them in a patio window? I'm never sure how much to water them? Is every 2 days or so alright? They haven't sprouted yet.

Very simply explained and helpful. I shall get started soon.

Hi Jokha
Without knowing where you grew them it is likely that they did not get enough warmth and water during the early growing stage. Water every few days but only keep the soil moist and not to wet, increase the frequency and amount of water as they get bigger.
All the best fro next year

Hi Jokha
On first planting begonias the compost just needs to be moist and not too wet. As the begonias start to provide shoots then you will need to water more regularly to ensure that the shoots grow. It is very important at this stage to ensure that the conditions are kept warm as to much of a drop in temperature at night will cause the begonia shoots to fail which i think has been the problem in your case.
I hope this helps

I tried growing begonia tubers and the shoots came up but after a while the plant died. I wonder where I went wrong. How often should you water them
