Sorry sweetmaidx. The first commenter is correct. Vermiculite is from mica rock, not worms (worm poop is called "castings"). In fact if you live in an old house you may even find vermiculite used as insulation above your ceiling in the attic. Anyway, check google for more information.

Its my first time square foot gardening and i love it i am using permaculture geomancy and biodynamics thecnics . Here in portugal i am already eating red peas from my garden hehehe Love your work Much respect (Check my channel to meet my new japanese chikens)
