Ah, yes. I was being sincere. :) Plain text can be a little difficult sometimes because we can't really include tones of voice.

@gaiagale well, I do have to agree with that. My favorite house decoration in our area is the family that takes the time to put up cedar posts and swags of natural greenery - very pretty.

@ Gaiagale: Johnny102marvin was being sarcastic.

Have a great holiday season!

@gaiagale just consider it a personal preference - I also love the snow blanketed landscapes. But, it's not all snow everywhere, and it's only one spot and it's onlly for a while.

Well now, I never thought of decorating the garden for the holidays. :-)

Its ecological to feed the birds and other animals during the winter....it's OK...Al Gore gave us permission.

here in Canada in december your garden is covered in snow...

The food for the outdoor critters is a wonderful gift in itself-winter wildlife is fun to watch. Roll the pinecones in peanut butter, then roll them in birdseed or black sunflower seeds. You can set them in on the porch and watch the birds/squirrels/chippies eat them-or hang the pinecones from your outdoor trees. Also, strug popped popcorn or strung cheereos are a favorite hung from the trees for the birds....
