I planted a bunch of cilantro in a container, which I kept outside, since I was unsure if I would need to harden off the plant once it sprouted, and I don't get good light in my windows. They all came up, and seemed like they were growing well. Then a few nights ago, every single plant in my container died. My guess is that the chilly night did them in - but I've read that cilantro is a cool weather crop. I'm in Southern California, too. Any tips?
