I hate to say Your disclaimer also indicates we are not supposed to believe what you have to say about the wild edibles and such.
Plantain is excellent for Bee stings too. Crush it between your fingers and wrap the leaf around the bee sting.
Are you talking about PokeRoot Plant which grows very tall and has vibrant deep purple stalks and large leaves with beautiful berries at the end of the season????? I know that information is different from one area to another but I haven't found any information that any part of that plant is edible without being toxic. I would Love to know your sources and how often you eat it. Around here it is considered a noxious, toxic weed.... the berries are slightly sweet and then have a pithy, tannin after effect...
I would love to know more... Definitely. -
Very jealous of that huge patch of Lamb's Quarters! I love that stuff! :)

As a kid I heard that bath water which included a strong tea of poke salad root was effective in treating a plethora of skin ailments from ring worm to chiggers to poison ivy to other scrapes, chafes, and abrasions. I've never tried it although I would love to find an effective cure for chiggers. Please note that the word "chiggers" is old school. There for a while they wanted to be called "chigroes" and then finally, "arachnid americans." Although they don't have a problem being called "reds."

"It's called Chardon" man you said it like a real French, like wow never heard that from someone who speaks English XD

One man's weed is another man's treasure....classic and true. Question: Do you really have to cook the polk salad leaves and drain three times to detoxify it? An elderly man once told me they are not toxic.

I find purslane right in my backyard. They're pretty tasty.

'sourgrass' has a HIGH concentration of OXALIC ACID
You should include the information about what is 'edible'
if you made a salad out of sourgrass you'd be VERY VERY SICK -
Good video. I want to point out that the plant you call sourgrass is more properly called wood sorrel. I grew up calling it sourgrass. It's a good edible to show children because it's easy to identify. There's field sorrel, too. It has different leaves but it taste the same.
