How moist is the soil you're transplanting from? and would plucking holding the stem work with flower plants transplanting?

Thank Gary another great video, I will certainly be using this method next year, will save me losing all my seedlings outside.

Not to state that I haven't found your vid very informative.

Are the styrofoam cups OMRI rated to be safe? I went to the OMRI website and could not find them.

I am attempting to grow most of these, but I swear my plants grow tall so fast that they don't even have time to get a set of true leaves in before being transplanted. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Very helpful video. Thank you! I started my garden and let the kale grow for a few weeks without thinning. Will I damage them by trying to thin now? They are in big bunches, but only about 1.5 - 2 inches high.

Thanks for that just what I've been looking for cheers 😀

HI +Gary Pilarchik, thanks for posting this video, really helpful. Just wanted to know what you meant by botton watering the plants? Thanks!

Why not eat the leaves of the one thinned? They can be juiced.

I live in The Bahamas. The weather is pretty warm year round. Do I have to start my tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupes, collards, and broccoli seeds indoors or can I plant them directly into my raised garden beds?

I'm starting broccoli today this way. Thanks for the demo.

Thanks for this vids Gary i am a big fan.

Thanks Gary. I've been planting these bad boys for years and am still open to pick up an idea here and there. I've had great success with pak choy and collards and reasonable success with cabbages, but my broccoli first heads usually come out smaller and less compact than the ones in the supermarket. While they taste great and are preferred by my family, I'm bugged by the modest success. Any ideas?

perfect timing... thx, mine are just coming up

i have kale blooming and also a few other brasiccas...
is it dangerous to cross each other and ruin my seeds?
should i cut all the other brasiccas flowers and leave only my kale flowers so it will stay genuine?
