Brilliant video, whats that self watering pot you used in this vid?

My wife and I tried two favourites last year - Scarlet runners which my wife did not like and Romano which she really loved - we also tried bush beans but I am not too sure of what verity - keep up the great videos - you must take a lot of thyme ( time ) editing

Great update Sean. I feel a little better to hear you guys are challenged with things eating your cabbage etc like the rest of us. Thanks for the tip on the corn suckers, Ill be checking mine first thing. My latest update should be up tonight. Any feedback welcome, especially if you can help me with a problem I have with my beatroot. Thanks! Mossy

I'm not in the garden that late so don't know sorry.

Sean, how do you fight the mosquito's that get you while you are in your garden?
-
Feel better, Sean! Great work in the garden!

Heat is such a brutal thing to plants. It is my biggest challenge here. Glad to hear you are getting better. -Mark

Hey Sean , I just noticed...Your beard must grow quick,,You had no beard before you started planting the runner beans, then afterwards you have a beard...:0)

A very nice update Sean. The soil where you planted your runner beans looked awesome. Very rich and fertile. I need to put more manure/compost/seaweed onto my beds this coming autumn. Hope your back gets better soon. Steve in Cornwall.

Enjoyed your update, hope your back recovers soon. This warm weather has made all my plants grow.
-
Keep back to normal slowly. At least I can stand up now! It's very hot this week here.
-
Hope you feel better soon Sean. It is always very frustrating to deal with injury when you have stuff to do. But as you said staying on top of chores really helps when you do need to take a rest. Rusty is following you to remind you it is nap time I think. -Mark

Like Sean said, onions need watering on a regular basis, as they are 70% water ,after all..Proper spacing is also essential, as the onions will fight for survival, and compete with each other. If they feel threatened they will go to seed, as the main priorty for a plant under stress is too reproduce..Hence the term 'going to seed'...:) Regards...Dave

Yo Mossy..Ireland is probably hotter than over here..:) I had a look in the James Wong catologue that came with the sutton seed post..Most of the stuff grows in tropical climates, so you will be lucky, even in a greenhouse to grow most of the stuff..Those cucamelons look interesting tho..:)..Also ' electric daisies'..:) Dave

Would love to try the James Wong range, but as you know I don't have a green house. Any of the variety that might grow/survive in sunny Ireland? It would be interesting to compare your seeds to the plants as the season moves on. Always enjoy the updates. Mossy
