Love your channel. I've been surprised by the small number of seeds your packets usually contain. In the U.S. we get many more seeds per packet. But the most generous of all are Franchi seeds from Italy, which come in oversized packets with zillions of seeds in them. Maybe you could try them? They have great heirloom varieties. They seem to ship to the UK through this website (I order through a different site for delivery in the U.S.): http://www.seedsofitaly.com

As usual, I was tempted to buy up a few packages of bulbs earlier this week, but this time managed with great difficulty to walk away empty handed. I am going to try to wait until I have the flower bed decided and at least somewhat plantable as last year I bought bulbs before I even had a spot picked out and ended up losing several of them. Lesson learned....maybe. :)

Your allotment is going to be so pretty! Janice

Ok....so if I send you ten Canadian dollars could you get me three and a half of those cats...there cute!
-
Only £50 lighter? You weren't trying hard enough.

I'm a subscriber of the idea that you can never have too many flowers, especially spring ones. They really brighten things up and get that feeling of magic flowing after a dreary, long winter.
-
Did you forget the cat food? Haha. Nice haul, do you think some of the bulbs would come up under lilac bushes when the bushes are bare? Crocus maybe? Cheers.
-
Lol! I was hoping you remembered to get the cat food. If not, you would be hearing about it! I look forward to seeing your garden in the Spring. I've only ever grown hyacinth bulbs. You've inspired me to try some others.

I'm gonna go Wilko over the next few days for those onions, when would you recommend putting them in the ground?
-
Where can I pick up a Rusty for a pound? LOL
-
I'll be waiting for late October early November to buy my bulbs from wolko's...Last year i bough 400 packs at 10p each pack, I've planted 100 packs into the plot the rest i give to friends and family....You've picked all the one's that are in my beds lol

Gorgeous bulb haul! Are you expecting a delivery of a ton of bone meal to go with all of them? ;) That's going to be very enjoyable work getting them planted.

The only thing is that I dont buy tulips because it doesnt come back after the first year. Love your goodies!!! -
Wow that haul would cost like $200 US $.
-
Wow gonna be amazing in spring!! It's a spring like day after rain and cold cold weather. Got quite excited at the thought of the vege garden today!!
-
Agree with June Sean, you look well. Nice hat !!

I've not really grown bulbs before. After they've flowered, do you take up the bulbs or leave them for next year? Also, if you leave them in, do you plant on top of the bulbs with other flowers or spring annuals? I'd be worried I'd be digging them up by accident when planting other flowers!

And i brought one of these for a pound. I could'nt stop laughing when rusty was suddenly on the list. :)
