RV Carport Lessons Learned
Tips, Tricks
RV Carport is in and I talk about size preference and Off Grid Living suggestions for purchasing acreage and installing an RV Carport to live under or protect your RV from the elements. Click here to watch the RV Carport Install Video https://youtu.be/EBGafaoHrOw If you build this on Agriculture Land you might not need permits and can do it yourself. Check with your County Building Dept. My 3 acres are in Rural Agriculture with some Deed Restrictions and I was required to pull a permit. Before purchasing Land to live in an RV check with Local Ordinances for the property. Some areas will not permit you to live in an RV on the property. Always do your research before making any offers. Do not take the sellers or agents word literally until you have done your own research. Please share this video with those who you know may be interested in purchasing land and living in their RV or storing their stuff to full-time for a while. Ok, you said ask any question, so here it goes;
If the speed of light interferes with the hight of the carport, will you still be able to back in the trailer on the first try?
Vanstein.

just wait for a few months that cover will be rocking back and forth so much you won't want to park your rv in there much less even get near it....
-
Thanks for the info..I sell and install the same cover here,and all sizes plus garage's www.carports.4t.com Install in all southern states..This lady would make me a great living,I wish I had her working for me..

Don't use just gravel underneath, you'll still get some weeds and deep enough gravel will cost a bit. Plastic tarp covered by gravel would be better, but even with that, down the road enough dust and dirt will blow in their along with leaves and such that settle will let small weeds start to get a start. Maybe just a tarp, covered with light gravel-- just enough to hold it down from the wind that you could pull every few years to clean out...

We love our metal RV carport in Georgia. It's 16ft wide and we have a lean-to section connected to it 11 ft. wide for the SUV. It's anchored to a cement pad. I installed 4 ft. industrial post protectors around the front posts after someone backed into one of the post.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. -
Thank you!!!!😊

Can you suggest the realtor you used. We are looking for land to live in our rv in Florida. And build things like a tree house for our kids. Storage for our stuff. Our boy wants animals. We also want to grow some of our food. Need to have water, sewage, electric, Internet, put in carport to keep rv for the elements of high wind and rainstorms. Can you respond to Sherine email smincel@me.com.

A good RV cover would be good enough. These RV car ports are too expensive.

Since this video aired I have enjoyed my Carport. Keeps my trailer cool during 90 degree days . I also like the size I chose because my outdoor kitchen is wide and I am able to park in now within the carport so I can actually get my outdoor kitchen door open to pack items for my trip. 18ft great size for anyone with outdoor kitchen you use when its parked at your home,
