Let us know what you did to get healthy new growth. Also how was your yield and quality affected?

its boron you can fix with cal mag plus
-
oh! it's root rot!
-
maybe a Cal Mag issue but do you check your pH of the water on both what you're putting in and what is draining out?

Mine looks similar, so what cures it?

If I just pick the affected leaves off and flush can i expect it to go away? I think mine is a fungus problem not a deficiency or nute burn. I also have multiple strains being fed the same, yet only two 'rusty' plants from the same strain, would a plants 'mold resilience' have something to do with it's susceptibility to this? If i leave it can i expect to get bud rot? can this be caused by problems with saprophytic fungus (mold on the top of soil)? My plants are still vegging, and they look super healthy except for a few orange-ish older leaves, I initially thought this was just a lack of light to certain leaves, but it has spread to some of the leaves at my canopy and would like to treat it, but have had bad experiences with sprays ect.

It's rust 100%. I have been plagued with this many times and its a hard condition to battle with. The best prevention is to always clean your room between each crop. Never get clones or cuttings from friends. If you smoke pot then always wash your hands with alcohol after busting or touching cannabis and change your clothes. Bud purchased can contain the spores if the plant it came from was infected. Water you plants in the morning to avoid excess moisture build up and insure you have very good air flow and ventilation. On your intake to your room install a passive air filter intended for grow rooms. Hepa filters will decrease your fans CFM and burn out the motor so go with a dustshroom style filter. Further more if you can afford to by a heap filter air purifier add it to your room. Continually spray your leaves with a sulphur spray for an initial treatment then use baking soda here and there. This will make your leaves very basic and prevent any fungal spores from growing on your leaves surface. Try and avoid getting the spray on your medium, It won't hurt here and there but it can raise the PH of your medium so use Dolomite lime and be careful. I also use sand as a top coat when growing soil. It will prevent thrips from laying eggs in the soil and any pest that attacks roots. It also prevents anything that has been living in your soil from coming to the surface during larval stage. It will keep the fungus Knats away as well.
