its ok though, we all have derpy moments heres something i did: i beat this game and never figured out how to get entered into a festival, i was always confused on what i was supposed to do on festival dates XD after watching this playthrough i know what to do now, a bit too late now though...

Yes :x Thats why there are derp in the title. I got so pissed. I thought it was like monster hunter where you got to catch the rare Sushi fish and it its a bitch to catch. All the fish I caught counted lol

Simply catch any Spring Fish for her and deliver it to her, you will be given a Sardine as a 'Reward' but being allowed to keep the Fishing Rod is the real reward for this act; get good at fishing if you expect to win at the fish catching contest on the 15 of Spring. Pro Tip: Don't hit the button when the fish starts to nibble, it just nibs 3 to 4 times before it actually takes the bait!. Spring's fish: Masu Trout, Gibelio, Needlefish, Lover Snapper, Cherry Salmon, Squid and Lamp Squid.

...wait were you actually trying to catch a fish called "spring fish"? by "spring fish" they meant ones you catch in the spring season so that trout will probably count as one and maybe the squid also.

4:40 you learned fishing quicker than i did. i was trying to figure it out for 5 minutes until i finally caught a fish XD
