The shindaiwa is not that heavy and using a cord is stupid. They make battery operated trimmers they're good after you do the the major work. The battery trimmers are good if you trim monthly . I run stihl and shindaiwa hedge trimmers most of the time I grab the shindaiwa first. Also if you keep the blades sharp they never burn what your trimming . Milwaukee is coming out with a m18 hedge trimmer sometime in 2017 I'm going to try it out. They are also making a new blower hope its better than the first model. The first model was not that good.

Gas trimmers are definetely better then electric ones but.... You have to bear in mind they are heavy as hell, if you do some serious gardening (an hour or two). No way hose. I always go with a Makita or Bosch professional electric hedge trimmers, they are half a weight of gas ones and they have plenty of power. You just have to take care of the extension cord.

Would these trimmers be suitable from trimming my pubic hair?

A professional knows to never cut boxwood with a gas trimmer. Those blades burn the bush.

Dear Shindaiwa. And i will say it again. WE THE CUSTOMERS DEMAND that you find a way to bring your chainsaws BACK to the canadian and U.S market! they where without a doubt TOO good to be true!! extremely reliable and sturdy as hell.

Good work!! honestly thought you were going to say "i got a truck load of sh*t" instead of "a truck load of Shindaiwa"

Is a hedge trimmer a good tool for blackberry bushes?? Some of the branches are an inch thick & more and very tough - a string trimmer won't cut them. A circular blade doesn't work well because the branches are flexible and the blade tends to push them away.
