I appreciate your video! I purchased a Rhododendron Purple x hybrid plant last year. I planted it in a sun/shady area in my backyard. This year it going good. I saw the flower buds getting ready to bloom, but the next day when I checked on my bush, some type of animal ate it and I was so furious. I have somewhat of a forest in my backyard, chipmunks, squirrels, beavers, raccoons, deers, rabbits, possums and the list go on and on...I love God's creatures but someone is attacking my Rhododendron. Now, the plant has brown spots on the leaves and it's not looking good. What can I do to treat this plant. Your video shows the beautiful blooms on this bush,,,but from this point, I don't think I'm going to be able to ever see a beautiful bloom. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Also, find a local pigeon flyer who would be kind enough to give you the "droppings" from there coup. Great acidic fertilizer.

I had one in BC Canada when I was a kid and it's still alive. I'm pretty sure it will survive a Kansas winter (is there such a thing?)

I find it hard to believe that these plants are not hardy in Kansas, which according to most books is zone 6 and they all advertise that Azaleas and Rhododendrons are hardy to zones 3 and 4. I live in New Hampshire which is zone 5 and they come back year after year and are gorgeous.
